In May 2024, original members Stephan Segermark, Anders Olsson, Patrik Högl, and Mats Hammerman met at Nevo Studios in Sundsvall. Their hope was to find the space—without prior preparation—to collaboratively craft a few new songs that might, with any luck, result in a new single. Up to that point, songwriting had been sluggish, relying heavily on recycling old material. However, that open-ended meeting sparked a collective creative explosion, culminating in the completion of an entire new album over a few frenetic days in 2025. Suddenly, the songwriting floodgates opened; Mats and Stephan began generating a torrent of material, to the genuine delight of the rest of the band. As with their previous record, the album features guest vocalists from diverse backgrounds: the hard-rocking Marina Ammouri, the razor-sharp Amanda Norevik (known for *Sågverksdöden* and others), and the magical Emma Härdelin (of Garmarna and Triakel), all of whom elevate the songs to new heights. It is an album born of a creative flow and the kind of musical interplay that can only come from a group of people who grew up together.
