Kolbacken is a band with members from Uppsala and Sundsvall, that influenced by the vivid post-punk scene of Sundsvall in early 80-ies, making pop music with feel from both 80-ies and 2012...
The band consist of half the members on The Confusions (Northern Indie pop veterans) and half Trummor & Orgel (symphonic, experimental duo).
Their lyrics are filled with local references and to the early punk/post-punk scene of the northern industrial town of Sundsvall. The single Slutna Ögon have had fine rotation on national Swedish radio P3 during summer 2012,
