Our favorite band from Sundsvall and Ånge. We asked if they would do covers of the five bands that released our last LPs. To see what musicians that were not even born at that time could make of the material. To my surprise, all of them said yes and it resulted in the brilliant collection “Elchock”
Kill! Kill! Pussycat!
Ånge’s hardest rockers, who just released their debut album and toured to all over Sweden. Live they are an unbreakable rock’n’roll machine that feels like an obvious cross between The Hellacopters and MC5 .
When Cities Divide
Combining hardcore, punk and rock'n'roll and the result is a really fat lip. Energy filled, cocky and absolutely wonderful.
A New Way to Flavour
The band that lives by the motto "good on tape – even better live." The debut album is under recording, and live the bands hardcore/metal mix crushes everything.
Indian Sunburn
A hard shredding trio that feels like the teenage missing link between The Stooges and Queens of the Stoneage.
Scarlet Radio
Sundsvall's best kept poppunksecret, which topped last year with the participation on legendary punk sampler “Turist i Tillvaron 3”. Fronted by the brilliant Theresa Bystedt.
Jetbone
A rock n roll energy packet, touring extensively throughout Europe and released their first record in Spain recently.
Broken Aris
Sundsvalls fastest band, who recently took their skate punk to England and have two albums out.
Elsa Sjögren
Sundsvalls brightest star in the singer songwriter part of heaven. Amazing feeling to be able to release her debut on CD.
Scoville
A new amazing metal gang with members of unreal technical deathmetal band Soreption, ground-breaking The Citadel and now dead Dysdain.
Burnt Sienna
Tight three chord-lilt-goth with influences from dreamers and a aftertaste of hysteria.
Frida Madeleine
Is both a solo project and a duo that’s something of the most promising on the local live scene could offer.
